Axe #506

From Sweden comes this nicely stamped Skodco axe. Weighing in at around 3 pounds and hung on an "A" Grade 28" Amish-turned hickory handle, this is ready to be put back to work.

These axes were made in Sweden but there is some questions about who made them. Some say they were contract forged by Gransfors Bruk; other say other Swedish makers. What we do know is that the steel on this axe registers at around 58 Rockwell so a bit that will keep its edge.

Comes with a Maine-made custom leather sheath
