Introducing The Katahdin! The full Maine wedge you have been asking for. This pattern is the heart of Maine axe making. A bruising 3.5# 1045 U.S. carbon steel wedge pattern head hung on 32" straight Maine ash handle with a pine pitch finish.

The handle is hand carved out of Maine ash by our master handle maker Tanner Wilcox. Comes with a leather sheath made by The Holler Leatherworks in Minot, Maine.
