We got a batch of yellow birch handles and cherry wedges from our friends at TD Handle in the Finger Lakes Region of New York and they look absolutely gorgeous when married up with our anniversary Allagash Cruiser.
Yellow Birch is a popular wood for axe handles in Europe, specifically Scandinavia. The blonde color of the handle is offset nicely with the cherry wedge. Useable art!
