Custom Scandanavian Carpenter's Hatchet

Out of our custom shop comes this Scandanavian-style carpenter's hatchet. Complete with nail puller, this unique axe has a 1.25# US 1045 carbon steel head and is hung on a 16" Maine ash handle that we turned on our 135 year old Ober duplicating lathe. We then finished the handle with some pine tar to give it a nice dark caramel color. Comes with a Maine-made leather sheath.
