Custom Connecticut Pattern Axe

We have always loved Connecticut pattern axes. Usually they are big 3-4 lb. bruisers. Ours is a little more manageable coming in at 2.75 lbs. and hung on a 32" ash handle turned by our friends at TD Handle in Conesus, New York. Stamped with the Brant & Cochran S. Portland ME reminiscent of the stamp used by Oakland, Maine's Spiller Axe Co. before WWII. Year forged and blacksmith initial stamped on the axe too. 

Comes with a Maine-made custom leather sheath.
