Plumb stamped an anchor on their axes from the 1880's through the 1930's and now you can add one to your 21st century collection! The stamp is faint, but there all right along with the maker's mark on the other side of the axe. Stamp reads Plumb Anchor Brand Forged Steel.

This is a big old Yankee pattern with a 4 lb. head and hung on a 33" hickory handle. We honed it wicked sharp in case you want to put it back in use. Protected by a Maine made custom leather mask.
