One of the more sought after vintage axes is a Legitimus from the Collins Company of Collinsville, CT. The hammer and crown stamp on the axe was the mark of American-made quality. This one is nice enough for a collector, but also ready to be put back in service. With a head coming in at 3.25# and hung on a 34" Amish-turned hickory handle it will make short work of the biggest job on your woodlot.

Comes with a custom, Maine-made leather sheath.
