We just love these vintage Rixford axes that were made over in East Highgate, Vermont. And here is a beauty from 1940! A big 3.75# Jersey pattern head hung on an A grade 32" Amish-turned hickory handle and secured by a black walnut wedge. Comes with a veg-tanned mask that will gain a nice brown patina with age. 

Ready for your collection or to put back into service for another 85 years!
